River Boyne - Energy
The Wisdom - everything is energetic -
E=mc2 : Einstein's equation : Total Energy = Mass (energy at rest) x Speed of light in a vacuum (energy moving) Water arrives on earth as ice from outer space. It interracts with the atmosphere, lands on the beings on the surface of the earth, and is drawn by gravity downwards. It permeates into the soil, passes grains of sand, through fissures in layers of rocks, and where it meets a block it gathers to form underground streams and lakes. Having flowed underground and collected atoms and molecules from the strata it has touched it eventually resurfaces as a spring. This is then drawn by gravity over the land, interracting with its stone bed beneath and with the air above, until it unites with other streams to form a great lake or ocean. The connectedness of all substances through their energy exchange is irrefutable. The earth is intrinsically energetic and, like any other collection of atoms and molecules, it gives and receives energy. Any contact between the earth and another object will involve a flow of energy.
The river water stores energy which has a potential. As the water flows, this energy transforms into kinetic (moving) energy.
The land is said to have a stored memory of everything that has happened on it. Whether we make love or we fight a battle, the kinetic energy involved flows, between those involved and also into the land on which they are.
Thoughts and words, as well as deeds, have energy. As we give and receive through speech we physically feel the impact of words. Again this energy will flow from us to the land as well as each other.
What energies have been brought to and imprinted on the banks of the Boyne? what energies have been eroded from the land by the river and carried away to be cleansed by the salty sea?
